Defibrillator / First Aid Training

As you know, there is a defibrillator machine at the club – its just outside the main entrance gate.  It’s a great addition and instructions on its use are provided at the time of care giving. Would you feel more confident though if you had some training around its use before the unlikely event that you need to use it? If so, you are in luck!

At Bishop Sutton Village Hall, on 17th April 2026 there will be a Deffibrillator / First Aid Training session from 7pm until approx. 9pm.

The session will cover:

  • Calling 999 and questions asked by Ambulance Call Taker
  • Scene safety
  • Primary survey
  • Recovery position
  • Recognition of a non-breathing casualty
  • Effective CPR Adults & Children
  • Safe use of a defibrillator
  • Difference between a Heart Attack & a Cardiac Arrest.

The session is suitable for Adults and Children

It’s free but if anyone wishes to make a donation to SWASTFT Ambulance Charity it’ll be appreciated.

For further information please contact me and I’ll put you in touch with the organiser Dave Shepherd
