Box Leagues
As a member you are invited to take part in our Bishop Sutton Tennis Club Box Leagues – a great way to enjoy more singles tennis, meet other members, and play regular competitive matches in a flexible format.
What are the Box Leagues?
- Singles leagues open to all members aged 16+
- Mixed gender and organised by ability, so you’ll play opponents of a similar standard
- Typically 6 players per box
How do they work?
- Each round lasts approximately 11 weeks
- You arrange matches directly with the other players in your box
- We suggest playing roughly one match every fortnight
- Matches are organised and scores recorded via the Matchspace app
- Results are also posted on the club notice board
- A WhatsApp group helps with communication (and a bit of humour along the way!)
Key Dates
- Start date: Monday 8 June 2026
- Sign-up deadline: Sunday 1 June 2026
There may also be a special Box League event on Club Finals Day in September, so plenty to aim for!
