Bishop Sutton Tennis Club Finals Day – 11th September

Hope you have all had a great summer and have enjoyed the UK’s sporting successes in the Olympics. Well, now is your chance to watch yet more excellent sport, with the annual Club Finals day being played in two weeks’ time on Sunday 11th September.

As usual we will have the seniors and juniors finals being played with the event starting at 12 noon, followed later in the day by the prize giving and photos of the victors. There will be some great tennis, so exclusive that it is not available on any TV channel or internet site – this just has to be watched live! In addition to the tennis we will have Stuart ( Mackie ) performing culinary miracles on the BBQ and Lyn (Jones) and helpers providing sumptuous cakes and tea. There may even be the odd bottle of beer or glass of wine available. So come on down and support the players (young and not so young), catch up with friends, expand the waistline and watch the tennis.

This year we are dedicating the Finals Day to Harry Connell, who sadly passed away recently, to celebrate his love of tennis and his help and support in shaping the club we have today.
